Testimonials from some of our clients

Mosaic Training courses are interactive.
Group discussion.
Training is informative and engaging.
Typically train groups of twelve to sixteen people.
Training takes place at the client premises.

I felt I came to refresh knowledge but have learnt new skills that apply to my client work.

Personal objectives were exceeded.

Would highly recommend, found the course relevant  and valuable from both a personal and professional point of view.

Trainer was engaging and made things stick in my head through good use of analogy. Never dull – humour helped a lot.

Good content, info taught at a good pace. Explained well.

Good mix of theory and group exercises. Comprehensive handout.

Used good examples and gauged participant interaction skilfully and decisively.

I have learnt ways of communicating with clients to encourage them to work towards change

This was one of the best training sessions I have ever attended. I’ve learnt some brilliant, useful skills.

Very useful training with practical advise and techniques.

Excellent training, very informative. A lot of info to take in, but very good. Definitely worked my brain: it hurts!

Mental Health & Housing.
BEST, Eastbourne

I should like to say that I do not usually give such high ratings but this was a course that was added to by humour and stories that brought it alive.

An excellent course, good fun and hugely beneficial to my job role.

Very interesting & thorough. Excellent facilitation. Learned loads!!

Excellent training as always from MOSAIC.

The facilitator was very knowledgeable and made the day interesting and of benefit to my work.

Really mind-blowing what I have learned. Never heard of ketones other that mephedrone. Now I have a lot more knowledge on other legal highs.

Has given me a good overview on a subject I had little knowledge of. Will be much more aware in future and plan to look further into this.

Course exceeded my expectations and I left feeling that if / when service users presented with these issues I would be suitably equipped to work with them.

It has helped me realise how much I am using MI in my practice.

Excellent facilitator – kept interest  and ensured understanding throughout. Enjoyable day.

Believe it or not the thing I most enjoyed was the role-play which I usually hate.

Exercises kept course fun and learning from others in the group was extremely useful.

We have always found Mosaic, especially Stephen McCaig, to be very professional in delivering relevant training courses. He is very engaging and manages to include and motivate all participants in training. Feedback from the courses is always positive and we will continue to choose Mosaic to facilitate particular courses for our drug practitioners.

We’ve been using Mosaic to run in house training for us for some years. They know the sector well so their training is always relevant and they are happy to discuss and amend the content so that the training is appropriate. The feedback from staff is always very positive. They respond quickly to any emails or phone calls and their administration is very efficient. Overall I find them a really good organisation to work with and look forward to working with them in the future.

It has been practical and informative and easily accessible. Given me new ideas, techniques to work with clients.

I liked the quizzes. They got me thinking and challenged old ideas.

I have a clear view of what SFBT is and will use some of the techniques in my practice, especially scaling questions.

Previously attended a course and my knowledge was basic. I feel that I understand more now: what it is, and how and when to use it.

What I liked most was the relaxed atmosphere. Trainer also used lots of examples when explaining aspects of the model which enabled me to relate and understand better.

Lots of different group work sessions interspersed with input from trainer.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Inclusion, Stafford

Course content relevant to my role and I feel able to apply skills that I have learned... was a great facilitator – Thank you. Fascinating intervention.

Good Course. Right at the centre of my work practice. Brings up interesting questions also about the equality / power dynamics in the client-worker relationship.

I have a better understanding of clients who use drugs and alcohol. Very useful, informative. Very well presented!

I will be more aware of the legal aspects and my responsibilities as a support worker. Wonderful course. Great tutor, informative and fun. What more can I say?

Drugs & Alcohol Awareness.

I feel more confident about the 'tools' and have had a chance to explore the techniques in practice.

Re-affirmed what I have been doing right and given good ideas / models for improvement.

I think the tutor knows her stuff and made this an enjoyable learning experience.

Complex Needs.
Inverclyde Drug Team, Greenock

Excellent presentation, pace and content.

It really made you think about different views.

Made me challenge my existing thoughts and beliefs.

Safeguarding Adults.
Stonham, Taunton

Excellent 2 days, learned a lot from watching the trainer, how he controlled the flow of the sessions and his personal style. Really good.

The trainer was competent, knowledgeable and worked at a good pace. The way he was integrated but “in charge” on both days made me have absolute faith in his knowledge, while we all stuck to boundaries and learned lots. I will try to apply that approach in my style – boundaried but humorous. Good balance.

Very knowledgeable, inspiring and enjoyable – I look forward to unleashing myself on trainees.

I will be delivering training for my organisation in the near future and will be utilising a lot of what I have learned over the 2 days.

I found the trainer created a space that made it feel safe to practice.

I feel more confident to try different techniques and better prepared for all situations regarding training.

Really helpful course covering everything appertaining to training... went out of his way to answer all questions.
