In a society where abuse is prevalent, creating an environment that aims to minimise the risk of abuse is of critical importance.
This course is aimed at both experienced and newly appointed safeguarding leads, providing them with the tools to embed good practice in safeguarding.
Our course covers:
- Explaining the role and responsibilities of designated safeguarding leads
- Identifying scenarios that should be raised as safeguarding alerts
- Highlghting working practices that should be embedded to reflect good practice in safeguarding
- Answering legislation questions related to safeguarding and protection from abuse
- Identifying the responsibilities of providers and other agencies when a safeguarding concern and a safeguarding alert have been raised
