Hoarding Disorder is still a greatly misunderstood condition, with many organistions struggling to have appropriate and effective responses to it.

  • Defining compulsive hoarding and to putting it into a wider mental health context
  • Debunking some of the myths and presumptions around hoarding
  • Looking at interventions that help and those that hinder
  • Analysing the experiences of those who hoard through video and case studies

  • Tackling environmental fears such as infestation, welfare and safety
  • The importance of multi agency approaches with those who hoard
  • Detailing the different forms of support for hoarding and how to access them
